Friendship Recreation Center in AU Park is our flagship camp, opened in 1994. We also have had a location on Capitol Hill at Watkins Elementary School since 2008. Both programs are led by experienced and talented directors. Child safety is our top priority at all times.  As part of that goal, we hire retired Metropolitian Police Department officers at both Washington locations from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, every day – all summer. They work closely with our camp leadership, staff and the ball players to ensure child safety at drop-off, pick-up, on the field, at lunch and at staff led bathroom breaks.

We create an environment where full effort, respect for oneself and others, and learning to compete with passion and class are the order of the day. We aim for technical proficiency with a foundation of volume repetition. Ballplayers of any experience level are welcome. I only ask my ballplayers two questions when the day’s over: How hard did you work? and How did you treat people?
