2017 Spring Camp: Saturday class - Washington

Friendship Park Recreation Center
Saturdays, April 1st through June 10th, 2017. Coach Dan Thorner will lead a co-ed, Home Run staff in a high energy class at Friendship Recreation Center, featuring plenty of batting practice, ground balls, fly balls, throwing drills and game time. This clinic will focus on three main areas: deep rounds of batting practice, ground balls focusing on quick feet and soft hands and teaching players to practice and compete with full effort.

2017 Spring Break Camp - DC: Private School

Monday, March 27th through Friday, March 31st. Senior Home Run staff will lead a high energy camp with the same format as the summer camp. Full ground ball and fly ball square drill, over one hundred swings in batting practice, and two full games per day. Groups will be broken up by age and teams will be fair and games will be competitive.

2017 Spring Break Camp - DC (Public Schools)

Monday, April 17th to Friday, April 21st. Coach McCarthy and a Senior Home Run staff will lead a high energy camp with the same format as the summer camp. Full ground ball and fly ball square drill, over one hundred swings in batting practice, and two full games per day. Groups will be broken up by age and teams will be fair and games will be competitive.

Winter Camp 2016-17: Wilson HS

This camp is currently SOLD OUT. Coach McCarthy, Coach Dan Thorner and a coed, senior staff will lead encouraging, high-energy classes featuring volume repetition with an eye on technical proficiency. All of these classes will be capped in order to ensure the highest quality. Campers can expect batting practice, ground balls, throwing, catching, and pitching, as well as agility and hand-eye coordination drills and gym-safe game play.

Now in our 25th year in Friendship Recreation Center, Coach McCarthy leads a high energy baseball camp focusing on ‘Talent is What You Have, Effort is What You Give!’ Deep rounds of volume repetition drills, teaching quick feet and soft hands during defensive drills and two games a day with fair teams. Almost every coach is an alum of the camp. Hundreds of camp alumni have gone on to compete on the collegiate level and beyond. We ask every day- How hard did you work and how did you treat people? This is the safest, highest quality baseball camp in America.

2017 Summer Camp - First Swing: Chevy Chase

Five one-week sessions starting June 26th and ending July 28th. Our newest program, First Swing Summer Camp is everything you love about Home Run Baseball Camp in a smaller, more local environment for our younger campers. Both beginners and experienced ball players are welcome and will be challenged, encouraged and instructed.
