In the Community
In 2008, Coach Mac partnered with The George Washington University and the DC Department of Recreation and Parks to create “Building Bridges Through Baseball”, a year round, afterschool baseball and literacy program serving boys and girls ages 4-12 in Wards 7 and 8. The program brings GWU Business School students to schools as tutors and baseball coaches. They aslo have all access on GWU’s campus for a summer long academic program.
